Markus Storm: A strong passion for road racing
We are inspired by individuals who have a strong passion – a driving force you can feel down to your fingertips, an energy, courage, and ambition we can see ourselves in. It makes us curious to learn more.
We meet Markus Storm on the training track in Thy, where he has spent countless hours honing his skills in road racing – a sport he dreams of turning into his career.
The rush that goes through the whole body when the engine starts. The adrenaline pumping through the veins. Being fully present in the moment – it gives him a feeling of freedom, like he’s on untouched ground, a place without rules. You can clearly sense Markus’ eagerness and passion as he talks about his sport – a young talent with a strong competitive spirit and clear ambitions for the future.
Just like his gear and clothing on the track require high quality and well-thought-out aesthetics to deliver peak performance, it’s equally important for him to be well-dressed when he’s not in his racing suit. He’s explored our spring/summer collection and picked out a selection of smart/casual items with a sporty vibe that matches his personal style.
Get a glimpse into our day with Markus – get to know him better and be inspired by his favourites for the season.

I’ve always enjoyed riding motocross – generally anything on two wheels with an engine.
- Markus Storm
What is your name and profession?
My name is Markus Storm Graversgaard, and I live and breathe the sport of Road Racing.
When and why did you become interested in road racing?
I’ve always enjoyed riding motocross – generally anything on two wheels with an engine. I grew up watching my dad’s deep interest in the world of motorsport, which sparked a natural curiosity in me.
The journey began in August 2016, when I got an 85cc motocross bike. We threw on some old street tires and headed to Løvelbanen – a small go-kart track in Viborg, where I live. From that moment on, I was hooked.
Can you tell us a bit about your journey to where you are today?
I started out riding small motocross bikes fitted with street tires, focusing on Minimotard, which I did for a couple of years before moving up to a 140cc motorcycle. Since then, I’ve become a coach, and more people in the industry have noticed my passion for the sport because I work hard and focus on learning as much as I can. I look up to the best and see if I can push it even further. Oliver Svendsen, in particular, has been a big help in getting me to where I am today. My dream now is to one day make a living from it.
What made you want to meet with us?
It’s important for me to be presentable - both on and off the track. The community of having the same mindset with great ambitions about what you do is inspiring, and I even had your clothes in my closet already. I saw it as an exciting combination, both to have the opportunity to wear more of your clothes by choosing my favourites and also to be able to talk about my great passion, Road Racing.

The plan is for me to hopefully compete in the World Championship by 2027, in the new Sportbike class.

Do you have a team that supports you?
I have a lot of people in the industry who support me – we’re good at backing each other up. Right now, my team consists of my family. Mostly my dad, since he’s also passionate about the sport – he and I make a strong team. We travel together for training and competitions. We’ve got our car and trailer, and we pack everything up to hit the road to the tracks and events where I’m racing.
Do you have any role models or mentors who help guide you in the sport?
My dad was the one who inspired me to get started, as he has a big interest in motorcycles and used to ride himself. My biggest idol is Marc Márquez, who races in MotoGP. I think he has an awesome riding style – the kind of style I’d love to develop myself.
When it comes to mentors and people who have helped me over the years, Oliver Svendsen has been – and still is – a huge support. He’s still my coach today. We have a great collaboration and share the same mentality.
Especially in the early days, when I was riding smaller bikes, Michael Møller from M58 Motorsport was a big help. If I ever found myself in a situation where I couldn’t get a bike ready for the weekend, he’d step in – whether by providing one or fixing mine if I had crashed it.
What are your plans for 2025? And your ambitions for the future?
In 2025, I’ll be racing a Kawasaki 400 in the SSP300 class, which we’ll compete in over in Sweden. We’re doing four rounds in the Swedish Championship, and of course, the goal is to become Swedish champion. Looking further ahead, we’ve got bigger ambitions. The plan is for me to hopefully compete in the World Championship by 2027, in the new Sportbike class.

I love the adrenaline and the speed. You enter a space where there are no rules.
- Markus Storm
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to start racing?
I recommend trying out a small motorcycle, like the ones we call an Ohvale. In Denmark, you can reach out to AMK or DMU (Danmarks Motor Union), and they can provide access to an Ohvale 110 Automatic – it’s a great beginner bike because it doesn’t have any gears. You just twist the throttle and off you go! I’m also more than happy to help – feel free to contact me on Instagram anytime.
What does it feel like to be on the track during a race? What goes through your mind when you're pushing full throttle?
I love the adrenaline and the speed. You enter a space where there are no rules. You can go as fast as you want – at least until the next corner comes. I keep full focus on the track – when to brake, how to approach the next turn. It’s all about getting the best possible time. Total concentration is key – if your mind starts drifting elsewhere, your head's in the wrong place. It can affect your lap time, and the risk of accidents increases.
Of course, I also keep an eye on my competitors. I’m always thinking two corners ahead – where are they positioned compared to me, where do they usually make mistakes, where am I faster than them, so I can make the overtake at just the right moment.
When we’re lined up on the starting grid, I focus only on myself. You can’t start thinking about the others – you need full concentration to time your start perfectly. You have to be completely ready for when the lights go out – and then it’s just full speed ahead.
